Why HDR in auto mode always remains in active/on mode.It is unable to switch according to HDR and non HDR content??
The HDR setting in Auto mode always stays on, regardless of whether the content is HDR or SDR. It doesn’t switch dynamically as it should. This leads to a messed-up experience:
  • If HDR is set to Auto, it forces HDR on all content—including SDR channels—which results in poor picture quality.
  • If HDR is turned off, HDR videos on YouTube, Prime Video, and possibly JioCinema/Hotstar look dull and washed out.
Basically, it only has two broken modes:
  • Auto = HDR always on
  • Off = HDR never on
So if you own an HDR-capable TV, you're stuck. SDR content looks bad in forced HDR, and HDR content looks bad with HDR off.
But if you're on an SDR TV, you're actually safe from this issue—ironically. Maybe that’s what Airtel's own tech team is using (budget setups, lol), which is why they haven’t noticed or addressed this problem yet

On the contrary, forced hdr content especially TV channels looks really good and like true hdr content...you need to increase the contrast by around 25% to compensate the dullness...try it bro..
