charging 5rs. For dd channels

Both Tata Sky and videocon charge some DD channels for those can view in Full screen mode But Airtel charge for small screen mode DD channels

Yeah forgot to mention abt the unfair charges of DD channels. The old alacarte price was fair but now airtel is just robbing its customers money

Trai rule is-
A-la-carte price of a channel can't be more than 3 times of the average price of that channel in a bouquete.
Let's consider ten topup=50rs.(all 3)
Avg. price of a channel=16.66 rs
16.66rs*3=50rs
So they can charge upto 50rs. for a ten network channel.

But for other regional channels, they are charging the same for both a la carte and normal customers. What airtel is doing now is soooo unfair No new customers will opt for alacarte. May be thats what they wanted.

Yes,they don't want customers to subscribe a-la-carte pack.
But one plus point is they provide one regional language topup.
