Latest reports reveal that the South superstar Rajinikanth, who was admitted in Isabel Hospital in Chennai after he complained of uneasiness, was discharged yesterday itself and advised complete bed rest for a week.

Reportedly, Rajinikanth started feeling uncomfortable after the mahurat shot of 'Rana'.

A little birdie familiar with the matter revealed Mumbai Mirror, “Rajini Sir came to the mahurat on time. But he looked pretty off colour.

“He had been unwell since the past two-three days. After some time, he said that he was feeling very uneasy. He was rushed to the hospital. We don’t know who went with him and who didn’t but his wife Lata was with him for sure. In fact, she had come with him for the mahurat.”

Rajini suffered from dehydration and exhaustion
After Rajinikanth complained of stomach ache, he was immediately rushed to the Isabel Hospital. The doctors, treating him, said that the multi-talented star was feeling uneasy due to dehydration and exhaustion.

Rajini was under the supervision of Dr. CV Krishnaswamy. Talking about Rajinikanth's health, Krishnaswamy said, “He was in the intensive care unit. We gave him fluid replacement and medicines for mild stomach infection.”

Confirming the good health of the 60-year-old star, Rajini's son-in-law Dhanush tweeted on the micro-blogging site Twitter, "For all Rajini fans , he is perfectly ok. Just dehydration, nothing to worry at all :) he will be home tonight itself! Love u Rajini. God bless"
