Disney Star has so many upcoming channels announced, but is kept pending. Its almost 9+ months since they announced launch, but then kept for delayed launch. Disney star should start launching them soon.
Great News. Some months back i had sent feedback to Star Sports Network Channel Head thru twitter and it included many points related to content strategy changes which should be brought about as well as need for transitioning to 16:9 video aspect ratio or atleast airing niche content in wide screen aspect ratio. Glad that finally Star Sports Network has taken the leap & now providing subscribers immensely enhanced viewing experience on its standard definition sports channels , hopefully some good content strategy related decisions will b implemented soon which would also include rebranding of few channels
Seen the latest promo of Asia cup ind vs pak, it is clearly seen that match will also telecast live on star gold. So, there are high chances of star gold to reduce logo and change to 16:9 aspect ratio

They should just change the logo !!! Not reduce it.. it looks horrible and outdated !!! This logo have been used since November 2013 !!!
Earning in billions and still cannot be bothered to change the graphics or have a pleasing theme and logo !!! Shows just how much they take their viewers for granted !!!
Send ur suggestions to them buddy, if possible design a new logo/theme/graphics and send sample to them. If ur suggestions hold merit they will surely try to make changes soon.
By the way even Star Movies Middle East uses same logo as India and it is infact completely opaque.
Theme/ Logo / Graphic changes is not a decision which can b taken in a haste or very frequently as it impacts the brand connect with viewers. Broadcasters do these changes when there is a real need for the same
