Great News.....these r the kind of service channels which operators should add to enhance service offerings as such content is either not available or can be seen quite less on regular satellite TV Channels.

Also i would like to clarify that these kind of service channels should be added keeping in mind interests of both mass and premium audience which shall help attract both customers towards opting for such channels and buying/continuing with DTH/Cable TV..... As i have stated numerous times good content with affordable pricing can still help grow Linear TV subscriber base.

So we need service channels for all sorts of genres in both mass + niche category be it retro cartoons, older bollywood / hollywood movies, international cinema/tv shows , devotional movies/music, region/language specific content ( for content which is not available on TV Channels), Exclusive Sports Content thru tie up with Prime Video/Fancode etc. for whom TV rights remain unsold, Infotainment content from different channels /content owners which r not shown on regular channels, classical music/old indi pop songs, etc.....also launch certain International Channels too as service channels thru exclusive partnership

Also there r several other type of channels which can be added like local community/city based channels, Stage Plays+Music Concerts,

Channels showcasing popular web content thru partnership with YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv, Discovery+ can also be added as curated content from such platforms shall help reach out to audience who has no or limited access to Internet/ OTT while also generating more interest among people towards opting for subscription of these OTT platforms to watch more content..... This same strategy should be adopted by broadcasters to air good curated content on its FTA channels or those available on DD Free Dish and they should have a strategy to convince customers to upgrade to Pay TV operators/platforms to watch more of such nice content rather than having wrong perception that having FTA channels will cause churn in Pay TV subscriber base.....fact is that there is huge potential for growth in viewership for all genres across different mediums / platforms if correct strategy is designed to reach widest possible audience in different segments

I was gonna write the exact same thing. You would do it better. So I didn't do it. The problem here is the pricing. Either these channels needs to be free on initial days. Or be priced around ₹10 during launch. Just so that viewers can explore the offering. Pricing directly ₹55 is discouraging to viewers.
