No Its Not True. You Can Add/remove topup, Change Package anytime From airtel thanks app, Airtel Selfcare Website, Call Customer care, By Sending Mail or Use Tv Channel Airtel Make my Pack.

Thanks for clarification. I thought only Tata Sky allowed to buy channels using web, calls and SMS. And others forced us to buy via their app. I wonder what people without smartphones would have done.

Yes Also Tatasky and Airtel Give Us Freedom To Add/Remove Channel anytime, There is no lock in period.

Choose wisely. Rely on OTT as it's mostly ad-free. HD bouquets are expensive anyway. ₹23 is not actually much to pay for additional 20 channels when NCF is ₹153.

Buy SD channels for mom. HD ones for yourself. For sports and infotainment go for HD. Go for SD for other genre.

Well my mom like to watch sports, specially cricket. And we watch together, so can't separate. I hope trai will change rules in future.

Yes. I have around 68 pay Channel bouquets+ala carte.
26 mandatory dd channels.
22 free channels.
Total around. 116 channel. Currently paying 150+18% for NCF and 172+18% for pay channels. Total 380.

Subscribe Zee cinema and Star gold HD which has more movies in there library as well DTH own channel
