Discussion Audio issues on XStream Smart box [SOLVED]

I clearly mentioned all these problems in my review.
By the way for 2 channels (SD) channels xstream box converting as Dolby digital plus but as you said in HT surround sound is not coming.
I will tell you one thing probably you haven't tested, xstream box is giving Dolby sound in Kodi. And only DTS is working and DTS_HD is not working.
DTS:X we can not expect from this box. But Dolby atmos properly working in Kodi too.

I tried this, and it didn't work for me on Amazon prime. By keeping Auto, 5.1 works fine on HD channels and also on Sun NXT. On Amazon Prime, Dolby is not working, whatever I try. What is it showing on your Onkyo for SD channels after this setting?

Bro in Sun nxt Dolby digital plus is working perfectly on Xstream box. You Know sun nxt giving DD+ Sound. Only Amazon prime is having problem.

All brothers no problem sound issue in my internet box.dolby sound working fine for both sunnxt and amazon Prime.only oneday problem for my box.but solved in one day.only one problem sun nxt playing dharmaprabhu tamil film played with dolby audio.same time 118 telugu film came from stereo sound but sunnxt showing dolby audio this film.i didn't understand this problem is sunnxt or airtel side.

The box is giving whatever is available at source regardless of what the home theater shows. Are you saying Amazon prime on Kodi is giving Dolby audio or you are talking about any other unofficial repositories?

Yes bro, that's right. There's no such issue on fire stick. Most probably it's an issue with Android TV app. I didn't properly notice it on Internet TV, may be same issue existed there too.

I am saying about unofficial repositories which are having Dolby sound movie links. By the way I am using real debrid service for this in Kodi.

Issue is from sun side only. I have tested in my Minix android box too.

I have Boat SoundBar. I am thinking to connect Xstream Box with Optical Out to Boat Soundbar. My query is, If I lower or increase the volume from Xstream Set Top Box, will it change on Boat Soundbar? Means can I control volume of soundbar by Airtel Xstream Box?
Please advice.

Yeah ... Soundbar volume can be adjusted by xstream box remote.

For HD channels , onkyo input shows as dolby from xstream optical and the output also 5.1

For SD chennels , input shows as dolby and the output is only stereo

For prime and netflix , input shows as dolby and output is only stereo in auto device sound setting.

If we change manual DTS or no surround sound setting then i am getting PCM DTS input and 5.1 output.

Your Home theater is upscaling the audio to 5.1 when you select DTS or no surround. Better keep it in Auto to enjoy original Dolby wherever it's available.
