Ok , going by your logic

Combined ratings of top 5 Hindi channels is nearabout 32.5 lac and total ratings of top 5 Tamil channels is 20.6 lac .
Just 1.57x more
but
Hindi has 8x more speakers than Tamil .

Ok as you say almost all people in Tamil Nadu have access to tv
Tamil has total 6.7 crore population (1st , 2nd , 3rd language speakers)
6.7*1.57 - 10.57 crore people

The same figure for Hindi is 55 crore plus .
55 - 10.5 - 44.5 crore

You mean 44.5 crore people don't have access to tv

Oh Come on Bro! The Tamil viewership is completely dependent on the above mentioned 5 channels only (there may be changes in 5th position but after colors Tamil its not possible) whereas in Hindi it is not the case we have Star Plus,Colors,SET,Zee and their second Gecs Bharath,Sab,rishtey,& tv. There are separate channels for rural viewers Utsav,Anmol,Pal,Rishtey. They do have separate channels for Movie genres for both Rural and Urban.Gold,Cinema,&pictures,Max,Cineplex and Utsav Movies,Anmol cinema, Wah, etc. The no. of channels is very large and they do have large no. of viewership than any other tamil channels. In the regional wise the whole TRP chart is dependent on only the top 5 or 6 channels bro. Hope this clears your doubt bro.

Yes Star Maa is one of the top 5 Channel in Telugu Language, Most of time Star Maa will get good ratings for New Telugu Movies. Almost 10+ Crores peoples watch telugu channels. Normally Pure Telugite wont watch Hindi or English channels, even i know Gujarati, Kannada, Hindi & English. i always watch Telugu Channels. even i always suspect BARC Ratings were not proper. Now , i gotta know one Hindi news channel has been caught bribing rs 500 to houses where Barc meters are installed .

Hindi movies channel are also upset with Barc .

Btw, bro Gemini tv was also allegedly involved in Ratings fraud (Telugu 360 had collected Video proofs but was forved to delete all videos by Barc)

That is the reason they were Closing their Gemini News Channel(now they are broadcasting songs & comedy clips), till now they did not renamed their news channels. may be they are waiting for some political support.
