As per my understanding. Sports 18 will bag BCCI rights (both tv and digital)
Star already knows about the loss in BCCI tournaments, so Star / Sony won't bid bigger amounts.

And Star / Sony will go for other country rights , especially T20 leagues.

Probably. Resale of ICC rights to Zee by Star also backs the observation. This time Star may not take part aggressively.
Sony definitely not going to bag the rights.

I hope Star is the one that goes for the rights. I think Sony should stick to International cricket. It's sad that they lost Cricket Australia. And Viacom must go for TNPL instead of BCCI rights. Just aggressively bid for BCCI rights and let Star have it at the end. It will have Viacom itself in long run. You don't need to have everything.
