&Pictures to premiere comedy film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi


Hindi movie channel &Pictures will host the world television premiere of Aanand L Rai’s comedy film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ on 16 October at 12 pm.

The film stars Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles and is directed by Mudassar Aziz.

The story revolves around a bride on the run named Happy (Diana Penty), who is a free-spirited Punjabi girl in love with an innocent and simple boy Guddu (Ali Fazal). On her wedding day, she elopes with Bagga (Jimmy Shergill) and accidentally crosses the border and finds herself in Lahore in the house of Bilal (Abhay Deol), a reluctant politician.
