After the super duper success of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, the director is back with another interesting project which will eventually have brother-sister combination Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Though they won’t be romantically linked up, it will story of brother and sister. They will play the lead protagonists.
Many a times Ranbir and Kareena was questioned whether they will shared screen space together. They replied that they love to act together in a film but they should not be paired up romantically as Ranbir is Kareena’s cousin brother.
For quite sometime, Zoya is working hard on the script and now she is all set to sail the ship. She narrated the story to both Kareena and Ranbir and they were quite impressed with the script and gave their consent.
A source said, "Both Ranbir and Kareena were always aware that they couldn`t pair romantically for any film. So for them to come together for any project, it needed to have an extraordinary script. Zoya narrated the idea to Kareena while she was shooting for ‘Talaash’. Kareena immediately loved it. Ranbir too has given it his consent. The film will now go on floors by the end of this year," said the source.
"Zoya will be reviving the brother-sister relationship genre. And she has now managed to cast real life siblings Ranbir and Kareena for it," added the source.
Recently, in ‘Housefull 2’ their fathers, Rishi and Randhir cast together for the first time.
Hope, Ranbir and Kareena’s unique combination will impress their audience.
