Can we replace the HARD DISK of 320 GB with a bigger one???

Hi All,

Has anyone contacted the technical team or have replaced the HARD DISK present in HD recorder. Like if we want to put a 550 GB hard disk instead of current 350 GB, is it possible.

Can the Hard disk be exapandable???

Or any thoughts!!!!!!!

Yes u can change the hard disk

I dont know about ADTV DVR features but Its might be risky to change Hard Disk from the STB without any ADTV technical person service. Many devices have arrangement that if anybody try to modify those it goes wrong after modification.

Yes we can upgrade the HDD of ADTV from 320GB to 500GB or even up to 2TB,
But those friends which have the knowledge of PC as it is the job of Proffesionals.

First you have to copy the Image of full HDD of ADTV STB with the help of good software in PC.
Then the same Image has to be Transfer to the new HDD say 500GB . now your new HDD is ready
to be Install in STB.
ADVISElease don't Try if you don't have any Idea or knowledge.

I think NO, The team can only provide the help for what they are giving to customer.If the box from ADTV includes 500GB HDD then they will give you help for that not for 2TB HDD.

When ever some body going to add higher capacity HDD ,Then pl do take A backup of your HDD'S with a BACKUP utility software,If some what goes wrong by mistake then you have to Recover the HDD.
