I think with the expansion of optical fiber network organized cable will be the future. Now 4K tomorrow 8k it ll require huge bandwidth which will be difficult for DTH players to sustain in the long run unless some great mind blowing compression technology is invented. Optical fiber will be very cheap and it has well next to unlimited bandwidth if not unlimited.
