Many networks have rerun channels, but that doesn’t mean they are creating a negative impression on the audience's minds by rerunning content from the main channels. Additionally, they aren’t turning the main GECs into rerun channels. It’s more likely that underperforming channels will become rerun channels, and they will be offered at a reasonable price or as part of a channel bouquet.
Even, I thought the same here

But, later when I observe how Star Plus has pulled off the new shows within few months of running in afternoon slots even after achieving good ratings as per afternoon band. I realise there are very high chance of Star to perform same in regional market. Like I said earlier,
For example, Star Plus telecast dubbed shows in afternoon instead of showing them on Star Bharat. Why? Because, they know where to put efforts.
This is how aggressive Star works, just pull plug and move on.

It's Ok. Even after I Shared Ratings of Channels, you said Merging of Channel is Good for growth of Star and edited whole Post

Merging the colors kannada and star suvarna will help zee kannada even more stronger

I think for time being they will shut these channels and once deal is done and dusted they might relaunch these channels in future

The way things work in the Hindi market is quite different from the regional markets. In the Hindi market, competition is much tougher and afternoon slots dont perform as well as they do in regional markets. As a result, if a dubbed show or even a rerun doesnt meet expectations, it is quickly pulled off the air.

However, the situation is quite different in regional markets. Colors regional channels can operate as rerun channels for Star in regional markets and still be profitable. For example, in the Bangla market, competition isnt as intense, with Star and Zee creating duopoly, so Colors Bangla can survive as a rerun channel. In the Tamil region, Colors Tamil can also thrive since Tamil audiences are highly passionate about television, allowing reruns from Star Vijay to perform well. The same can be said for the Odia market, where channels have yet to reach their full potential, leaving room for Star Kiran to run smoothly by airing reruns from its sister GECs.

In the Kannada market, Suvarna is the third largest channel so it should operate more like Colors Kannada, as a main GEC with original programming.

Btw this time the Star cant make decisions like they used to while under Disney or Fox. Here, since ad rates will be frozen for the next two years, they cant just pull the plug on Color's underperforming channels. Right now, they need as many channels as possible to recover losses from the frozen ad rates.

What is this???

If the document is "Non-Confidential" as it is highlighted in the document itself, then why point no. 2 in the ‘Clarification’ section & some parts of point no. 6 in the ‘Implementation and Compliance’ section are being masked out?

CCI is definitely hiding something which the public wants to know.
