thanks a lot navneet bro, well I see I setting as diagnostic and signal set up, what are these ???

And one more thing DTH operators like tata sky and Videocon send msg to subscribers STB and a Message icon (envelope) comes on the screen, does DEN also have this feature and a logo coming.

Diagnostics & Signal set up asks for a pin which i don't know & I have never tried to experiment with it.
It too has an option to receive messeges but I have not received any till now. The logo in red saying DEN appears on every channel at the bottom right corner just like Tata Sky or any other DTH. You can see that in the 2nd pic.

i've forgotten the pin for signal setup but there's nothing special in there... i thought i'd get some extra channels if i change it but no luck

It may help when package system is introduced. For now, same no. of channels are distributed for every box.

Both picture quality & sound are gud and equivalent to DTH. Sometimes there is a loss of signals but that is negligible.
