I got a new connection recently and the very next day these charges were deducted from my account. Are these charges normal or not? Please help

Yes normal total charges should be 1299

No, that is not what i said. I meant the total purchase cost (excluding any extra materials) is deducted in a phase wise manner once connection is installed. Your Tata Sky account statement will show it for initial month.
