MUMBAI: Star Movies and Star Movies Select HD are getting ready to treat viewers with premieres of ‘Penguins of Madagascar’ and ‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’.
While ‘Penguins of Madagascar’ will be premiered on Star Movies on 25 December at 1 pm and 9 pm, ‘Alexander…’ will be aired on Star Movies Select HD on 26 December at 9 pm.
‘Penguins of Madagascar’ is the story of hilarious covert Penguins in their global espionage: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private. These elitists of the elite are joining forces with a chic undercover organisation, The North Wind. Together, they must stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine from destroying the world as we know it.
Directed by Simon J Smith and Eric Darnell, ‘Penguins of Madagascar’ is a 2014, 3D animated action comedy adventure film and stars the voices of Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Conrad Vernon, Christopher Knights, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong.
Additionally, Star Movies is running a contest on micro blogging site Twitter, wherein fans and followers will have to spot the gift amidst the festivities and tweet for a chance to win it.
Meanwhile, Disney’s ‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’ follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life, a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one.
