Yes, i think almost all the Tamil movies can be supplied directly to the public this way depending on the movie budget, availability status at theaters etc.

Such movies that don't find its way to theater and fails to stay long in theaters due to popular releases can be directly sent to the public and this can not only generate additional revenue to the producers but also control the piracy as an exclusive company is involved in this (After Tasmac was introduced there are little to no illegal liquor related deaths in TN).

This is an excellent move by Cheran. Hope we also get Amma Cinema theaters in Chennai so those who want to watch good story based movies at small rates and those movies that never see theaters can be benefited

Director Cheran has come up with the idea of Cinema 2 Home (C2H) which will be an initiative to cut down the piracy acts. Cheran believes that C2H can act as a bridge between the audience and the films that are being released.

The C2H was launched yesterday in the presence of Ram, Sasi, Karthik Subbaraj, Padmapriya, Bharathiraja, Bhagyaraj, Ameer, Seeman, K.S. Ravikumar, Keyar and many more character artists.

The main motto behind the C2H is to curtail the acts of piracy. Regarding this, Cheran stated that they are not against the theatres. He added that the films can run in theatres for 10 days and has asked the distributors to give them the rights to sell the DVD’s. In these 10 days, the team of C2H will be spread across Tamil Nadu to cut down the piracy rates.

We hear that the team is looking to hire over 7000 people in this firm. He also added that they are planning to release the movie online which can be watched by audience by paying some amount. He added that these movies cannot be downloaded. C2H caters to DTH, STB, cable, DVDs and online platforms. However, the original rights of the movie remain with the producer.

I hope it will be added in all dth.
