Why are there SO MANY Tamil GECs? Agreed, some (Jaya/Kalaignar/Captain/Makkal) are political mouthpieces, but what about Raj, Polimer, Pudhuyugam, Vendhar and especially Vasanth TV? In any other language except Malayalam you don't have more than 4-5 GECs.

Colors Tv, Hindi GEC was launched in 2008 and became a highly rated channel and is a tough completion to 20 year old channels like Star/Sony/Zee. So I have high hopes from them, let's see how they make it Here.
