I feel what mmadhan
kumar said about fingerprinting is correct

He says it in a technical way basically your card has particular id and that particular id is belongs to you and your watching channels legitimately my suggestion is to you first confirm your VC No. from d2h becoz i damn sure it is your card number the card you inserted into your set top box.

Its highly irritating to see those card fingerprints on the screen. Every channel has its own place for these fingerprints.

They do it stop piracy. They can easily block vc by this.
