ST 2 operational life will be ending soon,contract with irdeto for encryption system will not be renewed ....both r cost cutting measures. Also later i see Dish d2h either merging with Airtel Digital TV or Airtel acquiring Dish d2h as i had read that Zee Group is looking to close / sell /optimise loss making assets and investors too would be wanting same

U can't find any Sticker under the box? In d2h infinity app there is information regarding stb type and model don't know it's accurate or not.

They have launched many new boxes,5008,7000 etc. now they can replace Dishtv stbs also as it supports all encryptions(st2+ses8).
