i also got the software update msg i tried to update it couple of times but COULDN'T do it. It was stucked on 5% and after 2 minutes it showed me session timeout. and now the software update msg is also not appearing on the startup

Not yet updated yet on my STB.

If you are not getting update prompt, you can switch off STB from remote and switch it back on after about 20 seconds. You may get the update back.

Can anyone specify whether this software has any bugs? What is the boot time? In an earlier failed update, the STB took more than 1.5 minutes to switch on from cold start.
