In private dth, carriage fee is 5cr/yr. In dd dth, its base price 3cr/yr. Not bad. You can place your channel even you pay 1.5cr/yr only for Govt Channels and foreign channel, which is cheap.

But some channels are so keen to be added on dd dth. See, Star Utsav paid 5cr last auction.

Its not DDD who will add sport channel,

It broadcaster who want to win auction block

As per current scenario,, no sport channel want to go FTA in India, then forget it getting on DDD +.
