Many good channels? Why there is not a single South pvt Indian channels? don't tell it's because of auction? south indian not part of india?, Or South India becomes super rich? How many years still india in developing mode while all politicians become super rich within a year comes to power!, If dd freedish quality is top notch why they still use mpeg 2 , why can't they use isro rockets for broadcasting satellites? , If so many poor and middle class why isro sending rover to moon and sun?,

Prasar Bharati does not ask any broadcaster to launch its channel on DDFD. The channel is launched only if the broadcaster wishes. How will it come if no South Channel participates? Separate bucket(R1) have also been created for channels of different regions. DD free dish signals is also available in South India like in all India, but because there are not many customers for DD free dish, broadcasters also do not show interest in it. And the same thing about MPEG-2, Prasar Bharati is using it for its viewers, if they block it, then in this case almost 45 to 50 million people will be deprived of entertainment.

Alteast two channels from each regional language should be auctioned seperately, then only South Indian channels bid, if govt wants they will make South India channels available in dd freedish if they do so they lose money and slots for hindi channels which irk their vote bank hindi States people that's why govt reserved free dth for n.india, tax 18% on South Indians watching tv

Few DD & DD HD channel take time to add in DDFD too. Keep waiting. Without agreement it will not happen, it take time & if it about Govt. then we cannot predict the time. Don't know what country minded you are...

So dd need to auction slots from dd?, I'm more patriotic than you as you compare india to islamic fanatic Pakistan, you should compare india to western countries, then only india progress, other wise india stagnated
