It meant the state Assam. What you did was Colors Assamese which sounds a bit odd in Assamese language.

Meanwhile it should be Colors Rang. But Assamese market already has a Rang TV.

Yes. Too much Colors Haryanvi, Colors Punjabi, Colors Bhojpuri, etc. is going on. Only @Aksgr bro's idea for Colors Malayalam and Colors Asamiya looks very nice, but it should be applied to an existing channel like Colors Odia (which I would like to see as it is struggling badly).
