Dhamaal Channel is not a New GEC Channel. It was launched years back with Dabang TV in the Year 2011.

There was a time (2016) when it was known as Dhamaal Gujarat and positioned as a youth channel for Gujaratis, but it did not last and reverted to Dhamaal within a couple of years itself. It was the only private Gujarati GEC other than Colors Gujarati.
