Dsports is the Indian counterpart of the failed Eurosports channel which Discovery recently acquired and rebranded in 2012-2014 period. After which they acquired license for Olympics and Wimbledon in many EU countries. Discovery is know for acquiring and re-branding other loss making networks. Just because they are zero today doesn't mean they will always be the same. Existing sports broadcasters in India have more experience but Dsports is just starting.

If star will get IPL right then, star may loose Indian Cricket rights which also ends in this year

I want Jio to win right and provide free IPL streaming for prime subscribers during IPL season for nxt 5 years.

Nobody can beat Mukesh bhai in financial power, not even Sony or star.

There is stiff competition for streaming rights fb, Twitter, Amazon, Jio, hotstar etc but for tv rights either Sony or star will grab

Why not Jio in TV rights? They hv MSO licence, they hv their TV18 broadcast network. They can easily add JioSports as a TV ch to show IPL just like local cable operators add local channels to broadcast their content or DTH like Tatasky add Showcase movies or +1 chs
