When update dish HD plus box

Hello everyone who is using dish nxt.. i am using this box from 3 days..
And it is giving problem in starting.. when i start it takes time and red light blink for 1-2 minutes and takes total almost 2.5 minutes to start..
Please help.. ye same problem kisi aur ke sath bhi aa rhi hai ya its only with me..

Are you facing problem while starting your setup box.. does red light blinks for 1-2 minutes..??

Red light blinkin when you turns on from main switch is normal thing.. red light will stop blinkin when 'Welcome To Dishtv ' will appear on screen.

Can you tell me approx time that it take to start when we start from main switch as with me when i start for 1st min red light blinks and then when it starts it takes another 1 min to function with remote ( means to start guide or change channel)
Please help..

Recordin in background..

How to record in background as when recording starts, if i change channel then it says that it will stop recording..
