Friends after OTA update my STB signals are decreased by 20% before OTA update channels which have 70% to 90% signals are now 50% to 70% . What could be prblm.

STB signal intensity or quality decrease is related with dish allignment, not with OTA upgrade... If u want u can clarify with dish tv customer care through email : [email protected], for further details...

suggestion : always allign dish tv dish by dish tv certified service engineer, from ur nearest dish tv care centre... thanks..

but i am unable to understand how a hd box can store videos now?....dish tv hd had dvr from past?

The recording option available through usb... its like pvr... u can record on pen drive or external hdd... and secondly the new connections of dish tru hd, after 21st dec 2011 have hdd (unconfirmed reports). There may be a scheme also of exchange of hd stb with hd dvr, according to my dish tv dish installer...

So how much the recording capacity in current stbs?

They may give some replacement offers in future i think.

No idea abt that with assurance... heard 500 GB (but unconfirmed)
