dish tv may remove ddfd channels also for more revenue; and then add those channels in their own tp. So customer has to watch by spending more penny for ddfd niche channels. (like Rs 0.10, Re1 etc)
Why would they spends crores in transmitting from own TP for earning 0.1 or 1 re channel.

Dish tv had 11 transponders from SES 8 satilite at 95°E and 6 transponders from GSAT 15 at 93.5 °E. So total 17 transponders.
D2H had 13 transponders from ST2 at 88°E.
Genuine question- Can't both satellite be locked by monoblock lnb or making custom arrangements? Max 7° deviation is there. If it is feasible. DishTV will have 30 TP combined. All channels will be shared by dish-d2h on customer demand.

Not possible

Not possible
Previously dishtv also used asiasat5(100.5°E) with monoblock lnb. In that case too max deviation was 7°. So definitely it is possible.
I hope they must have considered this.

I think they are planning to move south customers to ST2 first. After that North customers.
Once get additional TP from ST2 then only add more north channels and will move north customers to ST2

Presently dish tv running on 2 satilites. 93.5° and 95° , d2h from 88 ° . I think monoblock LNB can track 2 satilite s up to 4°-5° variation. Here 3 satilite s with 8° variation.
So I think it's impossible. 🤔!?
If it is possible ,they are the no1 operator with 30 transponders and highest channels.
