NCF if any must be included with Channels price including TAX, No justification of imposing mandatory 100 Ch & 130+tax formula specially when nobody requested it.Agreed the ncf should have been below 100 including tax for any number of channels.
Logically if i have to watch Free Channels only DD Free Dish is best option and for Pay channel Cable/DTH are available. Then why this ₹130 for so called FREE channels ?
Clever service providers are quoting price without tax that's too in round figure but in reality even a Zero priced channels has ₹1+18% as NCF if consumer has opted all the free channels offered with base pack.
As NCF is not mandatory the TRAI has just given the Upper limit and framework with MRP system for each channels/bouquet Surprisingly almost all the service providers are quoting maximum charges without any discount,
Hon'ble Madras High Court allowed any percent of discount by removing 15% cap of TRAI and Hon'ble SC has not given any stay on HC order still all are asking maximum price.
