star and zee are competitor of each other ,so that they want to avoid each other channels.

But airtel and star relations are very good.So that they struck a deal so that all subscriber of adtv can watch starsports channel.

@Airtel even has given these 4 channels at 120rs for a year in aug-sep.

Was that only a promotional offer or the price of Starsports addon is still Rs 120 for an entire year in airtel ? :huh

I think old rivalries are at play if we see the history of Zee & Star. It seems somehow Star doesn't want its sports channel added on Dishtv platform or want to delay it as much as possible.
Here Dishtv is also competitor of TS & TS knows that addition of Star soprts channel on Dishtv will help attract current as well as prospective customers. This may not be case with other DTH providers.

it was a promotoinal offer started on aug 15 and continued till 1month.

Now price is 180rs for a omplete year.
