You seem to not understand the current market conditions.

The synergy between Airtel & Disney Star will bring in peanuts in revenue. For that they need to invest some capex for the merger. Better to invest it in the wired internet business or 5G.

Just because Airtel has distribution doesn't mean the synergy will work. That was the main issue with AT&T and Time Warner too.

Buddy u r not trying to understand what i am saying and i will not invest more time or efforts to explain the same thing multiple times.

I think they are approached to Sun and Adani for minor stakes in Star India and Hotstar, so they might transfer the sports rights to Sony or Viacom18 and shutdown entire sports business/channels.

The only solution is to sell hotstar ip to viacom18, star sports to zee sony. And star india to viacom18 broadcast media

I think Viacom18 won't buy STAR's TV business as no growth in future, but SONY-ZEE requires sports rights from STAR, not sports channels.
