Breaking Disney has acquired 21st Century Fox’s film and TV studios in a landmark deal

Hotstar is undoubtedly biggest gainer in this deal. It will relate to increase in valuation of their premium offerings
 
My opinion on rebranding is in India it’s difficult to rebrand and get the same success and Star has been leader in GEC segment. Only sports channel can change in case Sony and ESPNcricinfo part way in a hurry. Also Hotstar can rebrand to have Global appeal....The reason for big logos in India is this only that people easily correlate to it....

Even for that to happen Sky should be renamed to Disney which is again highly unlikely atleast for 1-2 years. This is because just like Star in India, Sky is a huge brand in the UK and parts of Europe.
