The payment which Disney Star has to make to BCCI against IPL rights is already a sticky point in finalising its merger deal with Viacom18.

Star may go to court against ZEE as the valuation of Star will drop while merger with Viacom.

What are you even trying to say? Please elaborate
Star and zee signed deal of icc media tv rights wherein zee agreed to pay 1.5 $.
But till now zee hasnt given bank guarente for the amount.

So on this basis star can drag zee to court based on contract break.

As ZEE is backing out with the bank agreements Star had already pledged to the rights. This will hurt Star as now the valuation which was close to 8-10 Billion will now may need to reduce with the merger deal with Viacom. So they make take ZEE to the court to honour the obligations or pay penalties.

Disney Star was irresponsible to bid $3 Billion for ICC media rights.

Hope they suffer the valuation degradation. They're going to lose huge money over these rights.
