Breaking Doordarshan closing Analog Transmission

Just asking - Is this only for DD Malayalam or all DD Channels running on Terrestrial Service?

(For those who don't know Terrestrial Service is not like Cable or DTH. You have to put different paraphernalia to receive Terrestrial Channels.

Back in our days, we used to have a thing called TV Booster. I remember it was a big box for receiving other terrestrial channels like BTV.

Also, private channels are not available in Terrestrial Service.)

you mean keep antenna for even 10 year, bcoz DTT still not present in tier-1 cities, and this looks like rural place.

Tv booster is needed only if you are far from transmitter....if you are near a transmitter, just internal antenna is enough

I think DD Malayalam comes in the evening.
Initially there was a broadcast in Malayalam for just 70 minutes daily from 1830 hrs to 1940 hrs. I don't know how long it is now.

After talking on helpline ,DD officials directed me to contact DD free Dish dealer,and give contact number.They don't know the shut of date of Analog signals of DD in Kerala.
