I read the entire TRAI recommendations and the "Technical" section. TRAI acknowledged that the use of different CAS system by operators is upto their requirements and agreement and TRAI did not make any suggestions or recommendations to change it.

The trial by C-DOT on ICAS system did not work for proprietary CAS systems like conax and TRAI pointed out the major disadvantage of this method.
