Samething happening with my STB too , its observed after Videocon new software update recently in Dec
It's not happening (erase) immediately. There is no particular interval. Sometimes after 1 hour, sometimes after 2-3 days, sometimes after 10 days. Initially I thought, it is due to some software update or some other activities at d2h end.

Thanks , as even I thought its issue with my STB only , but I can see you are using 4K STB and facing same issue. its tottaly from Videocon side , even I filled complaint to CC , same response that they said : It might your STB issue and our engineer visit on chargeable basis....
