Sony Max is not a part of Star Network. IPL will be telecast only in Star Network channels. Because Star bought IPL rights for the next 5 years.

Seeing thishaving big doubt if star is really asking for price hike.
I think star is now assuring its ipl coverage to all (like sony max) to ensure good advertisement response.

Then the dth/cable operators were lying because they were claiming that star has hiked subscription fee
