No local channels are declared as FTA by Trai rt, also Info Channel counted as 1 channel.

Idk how the situation is on your side. Here local channels in my place are fta and epg was also updated long back.

If airtel wont make any custom packs, i will subscribe imp hd channels on weekends only.
Its all crap in any channel for 5 week days.
some times i observed,In 30 minutes program slot,10 minutes ads
and the remaining 20 minutes 5 minutes recap story and 5 min next episode story and remaining 10 min different frames of same scene

DTH/MSO can't offer their own bouquets by splitting broadcaster bouquets

Yes. But, they can merge them and create new bouquets. For example, they can merge ETV SD (Rs. 24), Sun Telugu Basic (Rs. 30), Star Telugu Value (Rs 39) and Zee Prime Telugu SD (Rs 20) and FTA News channels like TV9, ABN, etc = Total 113. If, suppose Discount = 25% for TataSky, then new price of telugu regional pack will be 85. Previously, it was 70. So, not much difference.

If dd sports telecast cricket matches in all dth then there is no need of other sports channels

They can not give live feed because of supreme court order. Waste dd sports / DD national , they can give sports events in only dd free dish

In this situation FTA regional entertainment channel's have full demand . this is the right time to lunch entertainment regional channels.
In Telugu, Sony Telugu and colors Telugu did not lunched from long time , Raj vissa also remove ₹0.50p ,and convert FTA and gain viewer ship easily. Also revampe content.
Some waste news channels also struggling to gain viewer ship, so they also convert as a entertainment channel. V6 entertainment also come with new content.

Asianet + SS1(19+19=38) or Asianet+Asianet movies+Asianet plus(19+15+5=39).This may be a composition of families in Kerala and while analysing the price they get diverted to Star value pack.And that is what they wants.
