Some transponders might also b kept reserved for back up incase of any technical failure in transponders currently being used by operators

As per my observation,
Kerala is dominated by cable networks like Asianet digital & Kerala vision to be specific.
Then, in dth u find Airtel more then Sun Direct,Zing digital and D2h to little extent.
