Only for metro stations. When I last went to Kolkata in 2015 they were advertising themselves as the first Bangla HD channel!!!!!!!

I remember one Bengali GEC channel name Sananda TV owned by ABP group. In my knowledge this is the first GEC channel launched By ABP Group. I liked it very much. But unfortunately this channel going to off air after 1 year of launching.

I also notice one channel called Om Bangla. When this channel launching, they also promote that this the Bengal's First 24*7 FULL HD Channel. This is the channel promo
