Zee Picchar has started airing promo of Picchar Suggi which includes premiere of old movies which they are telecasting for the first time

This promo includes clippings and title cards of movies which were with Udaya TV. Looks like Zee Picchar has renewed many old movies from Udaya TV. Either it should be renewed or shared between these two channels. If its a renewal, then Udaya TV has lost a big collection of good movies!!

Udaya Movies PQ has improved even more these days. Udaya Movies is even altering the aspect ratio of many old movies to 16:9.

Where as, Zee Picchar telecasts even new movies with huge black bars on top and bottom. They even add black bars while telecasting some old movies.

Correct. The black bars may look good in old CTR TVs but in big LED TVs it looks too odd. Udaya movies and Udaya has good watchable aspect ratio.
