These codes are from the broadcaster. It is known as fingerprinting technology. The idea behind is to prevent piracy.

Yes these are sent every 5-10 minutes by the broadcaster especially Sony to check if their feed is being pirated or not. Can't help.

ayan ji - i have adtv also. mso den also. but not getting any code in every 5 minutes.

also in d2h i m getting only one code i.e. JFFJMJIORTT in red color in every 5 minutes irrespective of any channel. so on news channels also i m getting the same code.

they are send by dth/mso/ cable operater as per my knowledge

For D2H, the codes something like JFF**** are from D2H side. If you change the channel, you can still see the same code appear so it is clear that it is not from the broadcaster.

But, broadcaster will send a similar code to their set top box placed in D2H up-link center which in turn will get displayed in our TV as well. If you change the channel, the code will disappear.

It is happening in my ADTV set top box too and it is not a problem.

It was used to happen in my SCV Digital cable set top box too.

I used to see this sometimes in Dish TV as well which is available in my office.

Can the aforesaid be moved to the new thread so that the discussion can be taken forward there including why and if HD channels will be added which does not include ss hd4?

Boys pls clarify this.My account on 11/4/15 shows balance 1958.41 and that my next recharge is on 11/6/15. What does this mean,does it mean my balance 1958.41 wl be availiable from 11/6/15 or that the amount will finish on 11/6/15.Is the balance shown our top ups accumulated which wl be utilised from 11/6/15?:-/ I am on NSP HD,thanks
