We know that star recently launched star sports 3 replacing channel v. Any news on when we will see its hd version, star sports 3 hd? Any uodate from star side? Also, does star have license for it?

No it'll not have HD feeds just like Star's regional channels it'll be in SD .
 
As per TELEVISION POST ...The channels to be launched by the broadcaster includes regional sports channels Star Sports 1 Telugu and Star Sports 1 Kannada besides Hindi movie channels Star Gold Thrills and Star Gold Thrills HD.

The MRP of Star Sports 1 Telugu and Star Sports 1 Kannada is Rs 19 each while Star Gold Thrills and Star Gold Thrills HD have been priced at Rs 1. each.

. The broadcaster has also revealed that it will launch four new channels by 31 December.

They've copied the news from here only DDF Exclusive - Star Launching 2 Regional Sports Channel & 2 Hindi Movie Channel by 31st Dec 18

They're doing this from years .. Before they used to do interview 1st n they published but nowadays its not that Televisionpost anymore.
