But news channel can air cultural programs like music, movies and documentaries. But ethically they shouldn't stop news programming for cultural programs.

Malayalam also has this issue.
AMRITA channel is a GEC but officially in news 'category', thus airs news bulletins also.
On the other end, Mangalam is a news channel, officially also 'News', but airs film songs, dance etc., even during prime hours.

Documentaries on news channel is fine. Provided they are of good standards like BBC, Al-Jazeera & Russia Today.

After Premiering Hindi Movies on simulcast basis on Star Gold(SD + HD) & Star Plus(SD + HD) --- Now Star India taking this New Business Trick to their Regional GEC with Movie Channel.
As this initiative it's turn for Bengali Genre to simulcast Movie Premiere from Kali Puja (Diwali). In Upcoming Festive Time onwards Star Jalsha (SD + HD) will Broadcast Current Bangla Movie WTP on same Time with Star Jalsha Movies (SD + HD).
(Promo Running on Both the Channels). Previously also Reality Shows "Super Singer Junior" Grand Finale Telecasted on Both Channels at Same time and gather Huge Revenue.
In Upcoming Days this strategy will be Followed by the South Channels of Star as well. Movie Premiere will be on Star Maa with Star Maa Movies. and on other South Language Channels where possible and applicable.

After Receiving 100+ Titles in the Card - Now Sun Bangla decided to Go On-Air with a Bang on the Auspicious Day of Diwali with most awaited "Sunday Blockbusters" on and from 27th October 2019 / Sunday / 3.oo pm.
Initially Sun will cater their Bangla Dubbed South Contents but later on they intended to bring Old + Semi Old Bangla Classics on the card which are now not even telecasted on any Satellite Channel except DD Bangla.
Nowadays Advertisers are showing interest to buy the Time Slots in Sun Bangla as according to them initially the AD Rates per Second was High comparing to Aakash Aath & Sony Aath.
(Star & Zee are miles away in terms of AD Rates.) But later on the Chennai team suggests the Bangla Management & Marketing Team to opt for Discounted Rates and thus that helped Advertisers to look forward.
Now All Serials (including 3 Newly launched Show) getting Good Advertising and Channel Ratings are 'Growing' as per Market Analysis.
Now its High Time to observe that their strategy to Telecast Bangla Movies (including WTP of Bangla Dubbed South Films) can put some intend in terms of TRP as well as Financial Establishment.
Also Many Bangla Viewers can refuse to Watch Dubbed Staff instead of Original Content. Let's see what is in the Card for

That NE News channel isn't available anywhere but on its partner networks' company ACC-Siti.
Meanwhile Sun Bangla not available on any cable in Assam which isn't good for its future. They are ignoring a big market for Bengali content.
