Some Indian TV channels like Sony, Colors, Zee etc. are telecast in foreign countries as well. Does anyone know whether these production houses make any special TV shows specifically for foreign audience? I mean the TV shows which are not telecast in India at all, but produced only for foreign audience.

Multiple Gotham variants.

Not entirely true. The single most popular font among Indian English news channels is Helvetica Condensed. Times Now started the trend and ET Now, India Today, NewsX and News9 all followed it. Very sad, because there are so many better fonts out there, and thankfully NDTV 24x7, Mirror Now, WION and Republic have not fallen for this nonsense.

Note that besides India Today and BTTV, Gotham is also used by CNN-News18 and CNBC-TV18.

Actually India Today was much better when it rebranded in 2015, when it used Avenir and Interstate. But not any more!

Before around 2017: Actually nice, somewhat rarer fonts.

Now: The SAME Helvetica Condensed as most other Indian English news channels.

I sense that Star Utsav might be revanoed as a retro bollywood movie channel soon...also bindass might be relaunched as a youth channel..... National Geographic Channel might see a change in content strategy with investigation, science, exploration shows being aired on it..... Star Movies Select also most likely will be made either a regular movie channel focussing on airing diverse movies as Star Movies largely plays action / superhero / kids movies.....also Star Gold Romance might be added on DD Free Dish Platform.....A new kids movie channel too might be launched by Disney-Star.... Star Gold Select could also undergo some transformation soon

Not new these are old

They have uplinking licence from India. Means these channels are uplinking on Satellite from India and Downlinking to any other Countries. These can't be streamed in India.
