Looks like Chumbak TV will shutdown from Upcoming DD Free Dish cycle(01 April 2025).

• Recently Shemaroo take over all the third party licence of their channels and took under "Aikyam Entertainment Private Limited". Chumbak TV also not their licence and registered under "Beginnen Media Pvt. Ltd", but not transferred like other channels.
• Their shows stretegy is mysterious. They are concentrating in completing shows as soon as possible.
• If they Merge Content of Chumbak TV and Shemaroo Umang. It can be a lethal combo. They can run Chumbak TV shows like Balveer 3, Ali baba etc at half hour basis on Umang.
• After launching 4 new channels. They might not want to run 3 GEC channels.
• Chumbak TV not coming in BARC TRP Chart, while only competitive channel Unique TV, continuously visible on chart.

How sony is most profitable company when it's flagship gec is urban centric and couldn't do well in trp ratings it's sports channels aren't cricket heavy and also focuses on urban audience and sony also doesn't have presence in Tamil telegu markets only max and sab are mass friendly channel and sab tv is also just dependent on tmkoc for its ratings so how it is most profitable company???
