Zee should relaunch Zee Q. JioStar merger is likely to create niche in the kids genre.
They should rename Big Magic to ZeeQ.

This is what I love about Sony as a broadcaster. While Star (now JioStar) knows that it’s the leader by a long way and boasts about its leadership, Sony has a very homely, Indian but modern, ghar-ka-parivar feeling, despite not being an Indian company as such and being owned by one of the world’s biggest media conglomerates. And after the failed Zee merger, Sony is clear that it’s here to stay, small but fit and nimble, with or without a partner, in the Indian TV landscape.

From a few months ago when N.P. Singh stepped down:

Farewell to a real legend. Throughout his tenure he ensured that Sony as a broadcaster stayed lean, mean and fit, instead of branching out into multiple languages and genres (which could very well have dragged it down) — and which it would definitely have spread into had the Zee merger gone through. This is why Sony, despite its small size and despite losing the IPL and several other properties, lives on to fight well after the Zee merger collapsed.

Read this interview from a couple of years ago to know just how solid (and humble) the guy is. Singh saab, tussi great ho! :clap2:
The man in the background: Meet NP Singh, CEO, Sony Pictures Networks India

Sony Pictures Network India brings Shark Tank to neighbour countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, in partnership with Green Entertainment(Pakistan) and Bongo(Bangladesh). Looks like they got South Asian IP rights of Shark Tank.

Looks like you gave AI a heavy job. Pricing everything at 19 and telecasting sh#te programmes doesn't fare as 'Parivarik/Indian'

Sony TV should bring fiction shows which can connect with both masses and classes like yeh hai mohabbatein bade acche lagte hai even yrkkh was also fine from 2013-21 and they should change Cid timings to 8 or 9pm to garner more ratings
