After that, the license will be renewed. Tata owns TS as it has majority stake and management. They may even offer comcast to take some stake. We cant say what they will or wont do. TS is an established brand so the brand name plays an very important role.

Sorry to get in to this discussion, but most of the posts you make in TataSky comes across as a masked attempt to malign or belittle TataSky by way of long posts pretending to be neutral. That is why we feel so. This is just my opinion.

Which is why i said please change ur one directional perspective about my posts. This is root cause of seeing everything i write with a negative sense. Just tell me logically what maligning did i do in above post. So discussing about name change or possible satellite migration is malicious then it is surely not the reasonable approach. Also if u consider this masked attempt to defame then please tell mods to make new rule that in this forum we can only sing praises for Tata Sky, any other thing is disallowed. @Bapun Raz bhai please see to it

What? I stated what may be possible outcome in near future after the recent changes in ownership of Star and Sky. Don't know how u all saw this as me hoping for Tata Sky losing out brand image. This is really taking something out of context stands for. Anyways Sky or no Sky , Tata is itself such a big, reputed and respected brand name... This will not have major impact on image or DTH business. They have power/capability to handle/manage business in an efficient and well manner

Bhai, please stop looking so minutely into each thing as doing so will creates unnecessary confusion. Dissect to a point where it holds merit.

After Reading Some Recent Post I Found Some Users Are Very Much Overreacting by a Post. Yes Many Times @dino29 Bros Post Somehow Looking Against Tatasky, I also Tell Him the Same Thing Earlier. But For Todays Post I Dont Think Its Against Tatasky. He Just Share Probability , and Thats Also Not Against Tatasky. Today Some Users Overreacting So Much.

@dino29 bro before your post members here discuss about screen black out at yesterday night and in your post you said may be because of insat4A and that we see as relatives to the current topic discussion but none of the members were discussed about whether sky name will be used in future or not, you dragged that sky name without any context and why you only interested into seeing sky name remains or dropped, it’s business between Tata and sky let them do it. And 2nd thing does any tatasky member posted in Airtel thread regarding their merger with dishd2h? What will be name of new entity? No. So we even not bother about sky name why should we bother about Airtel and dishd2h? If the discussion going on relative point or subject then no one will say anything but dragging unnecessary things will always create mess. And @Anish Pai bro clarify everything regarding sky name.

At the end of the day dth operator is just providing you the content to watch by providing channels. If your viewing is not disturbed and service is same who cares if their name is Tata Sky or something else. We as customers can't predict the future. Who thought few months back Airtel would acquire Dish D2h?

Jio Giga fiber (IPTV) might end up having monopoly and completely kill all DTH providers in a few years. Customers want quality for a reasonable price and if Jio does that they will definitely rule the market. I'd have never got Tata sky if not for TRAI's new regualtions and i will not hesitate to move to other operators if same quality service and channels is provided for lesser price.

Brand loyalty is a joke and if that's the only reason people are staying with Tata Sky despite other operator providing better service then they're complete fools. So far Tata Sky doesn't have a matching competitor so i am using them. But will i stay with them if others are better? Nope.
